The frequency inverters of the i510 and i550 series support a power range from 0.34 to 177 hp (0.25 to 132 kW). The basic i510 inverter covers a power range from 0.34 to 20 hp (0.25 to 15 kW) and the universally applicable i550 which enables communication via all common fieldbuses covers a power range from 0.34 to 177 hp (0.25 to 132 kW).
Both devices offer the following distinguishing features:
- Slimline design from 2.36 x 5.12 in (60 mm x 130 mm): fits into every control cabinet
- Scalable functionality thanks to their modular system

The modular system enables various product configurations depending on machine requirements. Extensions such as a plug-on keypad or plug-on WLAN module simplify commissioning and diagnostics. Thus, the parameters can be set conveniently via a smartphone app using the WLAN module.
This reliable drive is ideal for conveyor, traveling, and winding drives, for pumps and fans and many other machine tasks. The inverter complies with the standard EN 50598-2 that will take effect from 2020.

i550 protec
Compact, scalable, robust
i550 protec is the new inverter series in the 0.37 to 11 kW (extension up to 75 kW planned). Its distinguishing features: a slim design, scalable functionality and exceptional user-friendliness.
If your machine requires a lot of space, has a modular design or the space in the control cabinet is limited, the universally applicable i550 protec is the ideal solution for a decentralized installation close to the motor. It is ideal for many applications such as conveyor systems, packaging machines, fan drives and pump systems.
i550 protec uses the same tried-and-tested technology used in the i550 cabinet and only differs in terms of a higher degree of housing protection with an adapted design.
